1. Love your enemies; do good to them that hate you.

Matthew 5v44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

2. Resist not evil: if a man smite thee on one cheek, turn to him the other also.

Matthew 5v39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloke also.

3. Avenge not yourselves: rather give place unto wrath: and suffer yourselves to be defrauded.

Romans 12v18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

4. If a man take away thy goods, ask them not again.

Luke 6v29 And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloke forbid not to take thy coat also.
30 Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.

5. Agree with your adversary quickly, submitting even to wrong for the sake of peace.

1 Corinthians 6v7 Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?

1 Timothy 6v8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

Romans 12v13 Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.

Hebrews 13v16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

James 1v27
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

7. Do not your alms before men: Let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth.

Matthew 6v1 ¶Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:
4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

8. Recompense to no man evil for evil: overcome evil with good.

Romans 12v17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

9. Bless them that curse you; let no cursing come out of your mouth.

Matthew 5v44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Romans 12v1 ¶ I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

10. Render not evil for evil, or railing for railing, but contrariwise, blessing.

1 Peter 3v9 Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.
